I've known him on and off, and I would suggest that you are covering up and painting a nicer median that reality, but that he is not a monster either.

My one regret in life is never to have met Michael Ansara. I should imagine he is a very interesting person..he has travelled and met so many people.
I just watched his wife Beverly in an episode of Kung Fu. She is a beautiful woman. Good luck to both of them.

actually she lost two children before birth not one her first pregnancy in 1961 ended in a miscarriage and her third in 1971 ended six weeks before her due date in a stillbirth so Matthew was her only surviving child until he overdosed in 2001

I've met him and he is full of himself. To her credit Barbara has NEVER said a bad word about him. Even if in his mind she deserved them it makes him look low class and bitter to say such things. They both were well known when he married her, if he wanted a stay at home wife that is a choice he should have made back in the early 60's. Just because a m2000arriage lasts 30 years doesn't mean squat. I know people who are miserable the entire time, length of the union has nothing to do with how happy someone is. On the other hand I've met Barbara too and she is about as nice a person as there could be in a place like Hollywood. She is always gracious to people no matter who they are.

Well, Michael Ansara is an egotistical jerk. He is not a very nice person. Over the years he is like Cher bashing Sonny, has made a few catty remarks about his ex-wife. No wonder his career went nowhere.
