I've just found out only now about his passing.
It makes me really sad, he was a great director.
My thoughts and prayers are with Julie Andrews, his family and friends.

I thought he'd passed away a long time ago. Like back in the '70's or '80's. Hmm what has he done since The Pink Panther? I know he directed Breakfast At Tiffany's which is one of my all time faves. I just didn't realize he was still around up until recently. Still sad. Oh, well. RIP B.E.

Blake is probably up there now, Peter Sellers is making him laugh, Dudley Moore is sh2000aring jokes, Jack Lemmon is shaking his hand, Henry Mancini has composed a special welcoming tune for him etc.
Great legacy he leaves 🙂

growing up watching his movies from an early age, from pink panther to s.o.b, and finally seeing breafast at tiffany's.of all the films my favorite of his is Victor Victoria. thanks for all the wonderful years of celluloid Blake, you were one of the greats.
