I have seen and enjoyed several of Blake Edwards' films over the years and he will be definitely be missed. This comes as sad news at the end of the year. My thoughts are with Julie Andrews and family. I found it interesting that some of Blake's actors also died this year: Patricia Neal (Breakfast at Tiffany's), Dorothy Provine (The Great Race) and Tony Curtis (The Great Race and Operation Petticoat). May they all be remembered as the wonderful talents that they were.

I have been watching Blake Edward's films since about 1980 and have enjoyed most of them. He was very good at bringing out the funny in just about anybody. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family having lost him at this time of year. RIP Blake.
