Jack Elam was a first class act all the way. I recall him as always playing the villain roll in TV westerns such as the Rifleman and Wild Wild West. He was my favorite and I always referred to him as the crazy eyed guy not out of disrespect mind you but because I was never able to catch his name in the credits.
Several years ago, I watched a special on TV where Jack was spending time with a young lad stricken with Progeria. Jack Elam had a heart and it showed in his compassion for others. Glory to you Jack Elam. With your passing, Heaven gained a first class star.
