Denholm Elliot was perfect in the film "A Child's Christmas in Wales." It was announced on the Cypress films webpage that this film won 11 major film awards and I wonder if Denholm Elliot won any awards, if he did they were justly earned. Of all Denholm Elliot's films I'd say this was his best role. He was just magical and so lyrical in his role of Old Geraint.

It is a beautiful film, quite delightful. Denholm elliott is great in it, and so are all the rest of the cast.

We have the show on video(taped off the Disney Channel in the late 1980s). It is a wonderful rendition of the book. We watch it every Christmas-Mr. Elliot is perfect and he makes us teary every time.
