I'm a fan of denholm elliott but I remember reading something somewher about him being deemed a failure when he attended RADA. Can anyone elaborate on this?

As an aside, Jon Pertwee was another actor expelled from RADA who had a very successful career after that. Bizarrely, Pertwee was expelled after refusing to play the part of a wind in a Greek play. Maybe Elliott was expelled for something equally as silly?
