or just a really good actor?
The acting in the movie Revelation was mostly pretty mediocre, but he was outstanding. I had never heard of him before, though he looked familiar. I figured he was just a no-name Christian actor for Christian movies, but no. He's a real actor with a real fan base. So I was wondering if his role in Revelation was just a job for him, or if it was a movie he believed in.
Just curious.

In the "Making Of" featurette on "Marriage Retreat" DVD, he called it "pure" and had this to say: "It was a joy to work on a film that means something. Other films mean something, too that's entertainment. This was a joy to do, to work with the cast, and to talk about it." Jeff enjoyed it and brought his own ideas to it.
This makes me believe that, whether or not he is religious, he does have some belief in religion and b5b4elieves in God.

I doubt most actors would do religious movies if they were atheist (Marriage Retreat). I don't know if he is religious, but I bet he does believe in God.
As far as his roles, it's his work. When he accepts roles, he knows what that role will require; foul language, violence, etc. He has played antagonists quite a bit, but that does not mean he is a bad person in reality.
Now that b68there is a big war on religion in the States, I think most actors would stay away from PureFlix and other religious movies unless they really have some belief in it.
If he is a Christian, would you like him any less?

I don't know if anyone has tried looking up any of his most recent movies, a lot of them are really, really, really low budget. I would imagine it was simply for a pay check.

It's interesting that you would ask that because I came to this board for the very same reason tonight. I was just flipping through my Netflix account and I saw a suggestion for a movie called "Marriage Retreat" with Jeff Fahey. I thought there's no way that's the same Jeff Fahey from "The Sketch Artist" and "Body Parts" but it is. When I went to the imdb page for the movie, I found out that not only was Jeff Fahey in it but so is Victoria Jackson from SNL a known born-again Christian and a guy who is known for a1c84lmost exclusively doing Christian movies, at least for the last 10 years or so, David A.R. White. Anyway, that's what peaked my curiosity. Just wondering if he has become a Christian in recent years like Stephen Baldwin and Chynna Phillips have. I haven't seen "Revelation" yet, but I think it just might be on the agenda for this weekend.

If you saw Nick Mancuso in the Apocalypse series sequel,
Tribulation
, you might have noticed he's wearing a Bob Siemon's ring on one hand. I'm curious if it was a deci5b4sion made by the director(s)/producer(s) for some reason (it seems a bit incongruous with the film, if it was deliberate); or if he chose to do it himself. Not really a fan in particular; so I'm not that familiar with his personal life history, beliefs, etc.

I totally agree that Nick Mancuso is also extremely talented. Even knowing he was the devil, I really liked Franco Macalousso, and thought the role was perfectly executed.

Nick Mancuso, who played tthe devil in that, is also in immensly talented 'real'
actor with a 'real' fanbase, but guys like these have unfortunately fallen through the
cracks a bit despite their talents, and will do some less then prestigious things for a paycheck
(like Absolute Zero ) as to whether Jeff (or Nick,, for that matter) is Christian themselves,
I haven't the faintest idea.
