All the leads, even James Spader, are unearthly beautiful. But Peter is transcendently, impossibly, outrageously gorgeous. His eyes, lips, hair, everything, are not diminished by fact that the character he plays is a scumbag.

When he is laid out on the bed waiting for the sister to arrive home with the plant on his privates (ouch)all I can think is YUM!!!
And yes, Summer Lovers is always wonderful to watch with the three supremely attractive leads, not to mention the incredibly romantic background of Greece.

Summer Lovers (1982), indeed. One of my all time favourites. Also featuring Daryl Hannah and Valerie Quennessen. Amazing soundtrack too, playing many original songs from the band Chicago.
