Do you think JG would still be alive if he would have dropped down to 200lbs w/healthy eating and regular exercise after Sopranos ended?
Or would his fate still have been the same?

If he would have done that in 2003, yeah. If he would have done that in 2012, maybe. Damage had likely been done already. Likely blocked arteries. So it takes awhile to naturally correct things like that. At his wealth level he should have had a complete intensive physical and any issues should have been identified. As far as modern medicine can give us. Like when this big rock stars take drugs and don't have an attendant sitting in the room to monitor their healthb68. Really? You have effing tons of cash, literally, and don't spend it on your health when that's the biggest likely causal factor in death? Stupid and pitiful.

if anything someone randomly dying 5 years old or 75 years old would indicate total randomness in terms of medial luck AS WELL as a response to how healthy you live
I don't think there's necessarily a 'plan' about a 5 year old girl dying of cancer. unless you correlate a 'plan' as being a bigger circle picture, where the Earth functions a certain way and sometimes we just are dealt unfortunate cards
Its sort of similar to suggesting that somebody who gets murdered by another, that it was 'meant' to be or something. Think that's a bit of a stretch
she fell through a hole, and was never seen again

As silly as this might sound, I think when your time is up, it's up. I'm a firm believer that it's the plan of God for whatever reason that decides this. I read an obit this morning about a young man who died at 21 from some sort of lung cancer. I mean 21? There has to be a reason for this we can't conceptualize. After my mom died at a young age I thought who's to say the other side isn't better and those that have passed are saying that we don't know what we're missing. I loved JG, he was my favorite actor ever. I feel for his family, especially his children. He seemed like a very kind man, and well liked by those he worked with.

There's no way to know. Maybe he would have exorcised and while running got hit by a bus.
It's hard to speculate. I know elderly people who smoked for 50 years and lived into their 80s.
And then people who eat organic foods, exorcise regularly and all other healthy things and end up getting cancer or heart disease.
No guarantees in life. Anyone at any time can have a heart attack. Of course the so called scientists tell us the risk factors, but do they really know?
Look at how doctors change the "what's good for you" answer very frequently. I just read something that says low fat milk is bad for you because it's loaded with sugar. So again, who knows and i'm sure what's good for us today, will be bad for us tomorrow.

I don't have the spec16d0ific knowledge of James condition, so it's pointless to make a guess. But based on studies and medical knowledge on an average person, and not any particular person, a lighter weight and healthier lifestyle would prolong life.

We don't have enough information about what caused the heart attack. Was it clogged arteries? Was it genetics? Was it due to past or recent drug use? Birth defect like John Ritter?
