I used to hear a story about Mr. Garner being involved in a fistfight due to a minor car accident on Mulholland Dr. It was said that he was beaten so badly that he forever suffered problems (back issues?) from the incident. Does anyone know the true facts of the situation?
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it!

I hate that part of the book. I was hoping Garner was going to win that fight. It was hard to read.

It's true. He was badly beated by an ex-marine who got off very lightly. No bystanders intervened. It's all in his book, The Garner Files.
