I love Jennie and have always been a fan; however, I'm disappointed by the roles she's selecting these days. I know she's not the commodity she was 20 years ago, but these TV movies like Wedding Tail or whatever it's called are so beneath her true potential. I feel the best years of her career were in the beginning. Not because she hit the bigtime either - because you could feel her "fire" and determination back then. She had some stand-out scenes on 90210 during the high school years that were very convincing. As the show labored on, she (and the others) were phoning in their performances and her acting got very bland. But then she did My Brother's War and was very good (accent included). That's the path I thought she'd continue down from there, but she went another route with the WB comedy, and then full circle with these lame TV movies (and what was with the weird dubbed-over voice in that Tail movie? That wasn't even her!). My point to all this is that she has potential to do more than what she does. Family should come first, so maybe these choices are currently better for her. But I'd like to see her turn it up a few notches because she's got the chops to do it. I don't think she's just another pretty face. Now is the time for her to show us something better!
