I can't understand why directors, producers, and writers allow these disfigured actors in their movies and television shows. It's so distracting I'm sure critics have missed seeing actual talent and caused a loss of nominations and awards.

You are right. The woman is unwatchable. It's not only the lips. She must have done a lifting and now she looks like a mummy. Awful!

Lip has been same since Ryans Hope in 1975.Its called a Hare Lip due to a small cleft palate at birth.

WHY do these women keep doing this? Are they blind? Can they not see what it does to everyone else? Can they not see how bad they look?
Perhaps it's because their peers are other Hollywood performers, so they're judging their looks based on that and not an "average" person in their age group. They're living in a bubble, so their perception of reality may be distorted.
