What has she done so great beyond CSI or some other shows? i know shes been around for a while now but shes not a big enought star enough to warrant a hollywood star. thats reserved for people like clark gable lucille ball, jack nicholson.

CSI Las Vegas is the 7th longest running show in history. With Syndication, hulu etc it is one of the most watched shows in the world. Marg Helgenberger is one of highest paid actresses in Hollywood and when working on CSI she was making more than Lawrence Fishburne and David Caruso. She carried the show after Petersen left and she was half the chemistry for half the first 8 years. CSI would not be the success is was without her. She absolutely deserves credit for the success of that show.

Who says that you have to be well known and famous to deserve a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?? It's not about how famous you are, it's about how well you do your job. Marg has been in quite a few movies and other shows and she does good work, she deserved that star.

She was on the same show for 12 years and was really great in it. Nominated (and won) a SAG award along with her other cast mates and has been nominated for multiple Emmy's and Golden Globe awards. And as the other post stated she was in China Beach and won an Emmy for Outstanding Performing Actress in a Drama Series.
You don't have to be a big name celebrity to deserve a spot on the walk of fame.

She was on "China Beach" and won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress. It was probably the role of a lifetime. She was amazing on the show.
