Yes, the breathing issues. Not only that but the eye issues.
A woman I had a one-night stand with had some sort of pug/Frenchie bulldog mix and he lost one of his eyes due to breeding. She was like "oh yea It just popped out" like it was no big deal. Poor thing! 😞

It's very sad but there is a push to encourage breeding pugs with just a little bit of snout to maintain all the endearing qualities without going too crazy with the squashiness.
It would be nice if they could one day be free from breathing difficulties as a majority.

Pugs are adorable. I love to the rub their fur! The problem that I have is how we humans have bred some of these animals for our own enjoyment yet not taking into account health issues they may have.

I like all dogs that are not bred for dog fighting, I wouldn't trust america's favourite family annihilator the pitbull terrier. I'd kick it death if I saw it or a staffordshire bull terrier attack a child or a dog!
