Tonight was the premier of "Going Clear", the HBO documentary about Scientology. It mentioned that Rock Hudson was involved in Scientology early on. I'm surprised because his biography did not mention anything about it and he was very non-religious.
Anyone know anything further?

Can't imagine why Hudson would even have bothered. He was a non believer and considered the bible to be "a bunch of fairy tales" so who knows what would have had him interested in a cult.

According to the book, Inside Scientology by Janet Reitman, Hudson had one "unsuccessful" auditing session. That seems to be the extent of his involvement with Scientology which isn't terribly surprising.
