I just got done watching "Giant" and I really liked it. Besides that, I have only seen him in "Mcmillan and Wife".
So I was just wondering what everyone thinks his top five movies are.

Didn't like Ice Station Zebra- couldn't even watch to the end it just seemed so boring and uneventful; could not believe that Howard Hughes repeatedly watched this film. 'Giant' too is very long and a little boring but somehow the star power is able to lift this film. On the otherhand I love the comedies- he was in some really great ones- 'Pillow Talk', 'Lover, Come Back', 'Send Me No Flowers' and 'Man's Favorite Sport?' is good too. I thought 'Seconds' is okay for what it was which is a somewhat obscure psychological thriller. One of my absolute favourites of his though is 'All that Heaven Allows' which is just beautiful to watch. Not so keen on his other Douglas Sirk films though- they're a little too melodramatic and not as interesting- 'Magnificent Obsession', 'Written on the Wind' and 'Tarnished Angels'.

Thanks everyone, I have Ice Station Zebra to watch this weekend. Sounds interesting, I have read mixed reviews but a lot of "guilty pleasures" by people. So we shall see.
I think that I will try Pillow Talk after that.

Check out ICE STATION ZEBRA. It was Hudson's own personal favorite. He's really good as the Captain.

His very best movies, besides GIANT, are the ones with Doris Day (PILLOW TALK, LOVER COME BACK, SEND ME NO FLOWERS) and Jane Wyman (ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS, MAGIFICIENT OBSESSION). Others that are really good are WRITTEN ON THE WIND, MAN'S FAVORITE SPORT, SECONDS, DARLING LILI, and THIS EARTH IS MINE.

My favorites are the romantic comedies he did with Doris Day. I still get a kick out of watching those films. Pillow Talk, Lover Come Back, Send Me No Flowers. All of these are such great fun to watch!

I loved his romantic comedies more than anything else.
My top five would be:
Lover Come Back with Doris Day
Pillow Talk with Doris Day
Man's Favorite Sport with Paula Prentiss
Send Me No Flowers with Doris Day
Strange Bedfellows with Gina Lollabridgeda
Where the HELL is my PUGIL STICK? I mean, it isn't like I can stick it in a drawer or something.
