Leslie Neilsen gives such a good performance in this movie, maybe even better than in those
Naked Gun
films.
The movie is a bit slow-paced, but it's a terrific mystery with an excellent ending. Enjoy!

I've started watching They Call It Murder. I like it so far. Leslie Neilson is in it and I've always liked him too.

I also recommend the 1971 TV movie
They Call it Murder
, in which he plays detective-D.A. Doug Selby.
He did a number of great romantic comedies in the 1960s. Several times, he was paired up with actress Paula Prentiss. All of those are worth checking out.

You can find it on You Tube. It is such a good story line. I saw part of the episodes a few months ago as I was channel surfing. I remembered the episodes from when they first aired and I just had to see them again so I searched You Tube and found them. He plays a doctor so he wears a lab coat in some of his scenes and a nice suit in others. He looks so good! He is so funny in these episodes too. That was the start of my Jim Hutton obsession. After I found that I had to find Ellery Queen and found all the episodes on Hulu.

I still want to see that episode!
I'll see itsomeday. Most likely I'll be very jealous of the young woman he was in love with.
Long hair, hey? Now I'm curious.

I loved the way he looked when he guest starred on "One Day At A Time". He had the longer hair and he still had the cute face, but it had matured a bit and yes, he was HOT!

I know! Jim just got sexier as he got older. He was very cute in the sixties, but once his face hardened, he became extremely, extremely HOT.

Yes, Jim was much sexier, especially in the 1970s!
