<p dir="auto">Here's the skinny on Peter Hyams:  He is a crackerjack writer.  Great, original stories.  Sparkling dialogue.  A real pro.  And whenever he's gone ahead and directed his own screenplays, the results are usually wonderful.  Better than that in some cases (CAPRICORN ONE, anybody?)<br />
So, memo to Hyams:  GET ON YOUR FEET, SOLDIER, AND GET BACK TO THE TYPEWRITER THIS INSTANT! (HOLLYWOOD NEEDS YOU!)</p>
