I might as well mention they were mother and daughter in Honeysuckle Rose also and in Micki and Maude they appeared together. Although Priscilla plays Ann Reinking's mother not Amy's.

For fans of TV soaps, Amy's mother Priscilla played Rebecca, the mother of Pam and Cliff, on "Dallas".

She also acted in "Carrie" (1976) with Priscilla Pointer, as a mother-daughter duo. Priscilla doesn't have much of a role, but overall it's ok.

Both were active in theater. Jules Irving (I believe that was his name) died in the late 1970s but Priscilla is still living.
Amy grew up around the acting business so it's no surprise she became an actress herself.
