<p dir="auto">Agreedwe could be doing worse.  But I've yet to really see something from Burton that makes me think he's right to get all the layers of Sweeney.<br />

<p dir="auto">Not to be too much of a stickler, but the correct English would be you wish he WERE directing Sweeney Todd, not you wish he WAS. Other than that, I basically agree with you. Tim Burton would be much better fo Into the Woods, which is more comic and whimsical, but still has enough pathos to attract him. Tim Burton is certainly no slouch. Burton-Depp is like Scorsese-De Niro, they just make a great team.</p>
