On Thursday, December 27th at 4:15 eastern time, Warner Brothers Pictures announced that Oscar-winning director Neil Jordan has been signed to direct the seventh installment of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In a statement made by Warner Brothers spokesman Henry Sallis, the company declares that they have almost finished all of the legal work and are now signing contracts. "We at Warner Brothers are proud to have such a talented man taking the helm of what we're sure will be a fantastic film."</p>
