To: Julie Kavner
Julie:
Just in the off-chance that you may stumble across this, I want to thank you and your associates for enriching my life with 2000The Simpsons. I am watching the audio content of Season 3 and am moved by your comments and warmth.
Marge is like an aunt to me, someone that seems like a real person in my life.
I have followed you in your various Woody Allen movies, Rhoda, etc. and always have the same reaction when see or even just hearing you.
You might enjoy knowing that I buy my dvds from Italy so that I can listen to the episodes in Italian. It has been a powerful and very enjoyable aspect of my learning a new language. The "Italian" Marge's voice is not as sweet as yours, yet I think she does capture the general "feel" of Marge. I always notice, when listening to the original voice in English (yours) that "there is the REAL Marge!"
So, again, thanks from a hard core fan and I am happy for your success.
Sincerely,
Roland, San Francisco

I remember reading once that Jennifer Garner and the guy who played her black partner were reading IMDB and joking about how his career goes back all the way to Cagney & Lacey. So, it is possible! I just want to add that Julie is a very special person and a gifted actress, and I can see a person finding her special and comforting. Am I the only person who ween to see Click because she, and not Adam Sandler, was in it? Julie was great, as usual, but I felt that Henry Winkler stole the show, although the movie as a whole was pretty bad.

I see no harm in anyone hoping that someone reads their IMDB postings. I would think it would be unlikely. Many don't even know this exists. If a fan wants to write to someone they like then so be it. No harm is done.

That's very nice, but Julie is a very busy person, and I'm sure she wouldn't bother looking at her IMDb page.
