I'm not a fan of rap, although her work is tolerable. Her singing ability is really best showcased in sultry old ballads and big band music, as well as musicals. Watch her in her first movie, Set It Off, Brining Down the House, Last Holiday, and Chicago to see her acting skill at its best.
