I know QL is starring in the new Bessie Smith film, but ever since I watched "Carmen Jones" I always pictured QL playing Pearl Bailey. I dont know why it hasn't happened yet. Just like how Halle looked like Dorothy Dandrige, I can see the resemblance to Pearl Bailey in QL.
