She's been groomed by Hollywood to be every black woman's idol. She's a black woman. And even better : She's a fat black woman. She is given roles in which she makes white people look stupid. Black people - especially black women - LOVE to see black women make white people look stupid. It makes them feel better about themselves and they will always buy tickets to see it. The fact that she is fat makes her even more popular in this way because she is able to be passed off as an "every day" type.
It's obvious after you look for it in her movies. Every single role has her looking clever either by saying clever things or by being surrounded by idiots who make her look clever in comparison. She is NEVER the butt of any jokes in any of her movies. If she is then she always comes back with a clever remark.
Therefore she is a very bankable actress. It can be something with terrible actors/actresses or something with a terrible script and it will still attract black women as long as she is in it and made to look clever.

Were you born this stupid, or was there a horrible accident in your past?

I agree that Queen Latifah appears to be a very down-to-earth and well-rounded person. Hollywood loves her because she has a certain warmth and she plays nurturing women who are very influential in a positive way. To me, she has a powerful ambience. You also never forget the characters she plays and she fits each role perfectly. She's such an inspiration to me and probably always will be.

I don't agree with some of the nonsense you were posting however, Queen just has that likability factor. Will Smith has it also. She seems like a very down to earth and well rounded person.
