I've seen many of films and she's quite the eclectic resume; however, it appears she has been many horror genre films. What are your thoughts?

I'm not so sure though she has done very well in horror. I liked her in the mystery film "The Dead Girl" (2006) for example.

Absolutely not! She had a long career before Carrie. She was something. I did a search for young Piper Laurie photos, she was an upcoming starlet in the 50s. Quite beautiful, and she has aged beautifully. She may have had work done but it sure doesn't look like it at all.
