In her bio here on IMDb, it lists one of her alternate names as Fumio Yamaguchi. What the Hell is THAT all about?

Yes, well, I haven't seen Twin Peaks since it originally aired way back when. I was just as intrigued as the rest of the world at the time and I really enjoyed it. I forgot Piper Laurie was even in it as you said, I guess she is hardly recognizable. Thanks very much for the info! I'm looking forward to seeing this again. It will bring back a lot of memories of the time, too. I watched Twin Peaks with my first serious girlfriend and we really bonded over it and discussed it a great deal. It was quite the cultural phenomenon at the time. David Lynch was always stirring people up back then!

In Twin Peaks her character, Katherine, is belived to have been killed in a fire and a Japanese business man turns up to buy the family's mill. The Japanese business man is none other than Katherine in disguise played by an excellent Piper Laurie! I can't remember if Fumio Yamaguchi is the character's name or if that's what they credited Piper Laurie as in the credits, you'll be able to check that out on the Twin Peaks page. You should really check out that performance as it is brilliant - you can not recognise her, she is absolutley fantastic!!!
