I loved her so much as Ivan!

I am watching the Lword thru for the second time and again, am asking myself "WTF!?" where Kelly's character is concerned. I know actors and actresses' jobs are to reach way out in a variety of many different characters and roles but damn! That was just nutty. But of course, I am not a lesbo so I guess I wouldn't understand.

I wish her character returned to the show!

Well the ending of this season could be interpreted as something either REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD. Kit's nemesis, Dawn Denbo, announced that she went to Ivan and Ivan "gleefully" sold her his 51% of The Planet. (Which seemed so bizarrely out of character!)
What's strange is that Kit never acknowledged that Ivan had ANY part in it - all she cared about was getting revenge against Dawn. It never showed her make any angry phone calls to Ivan or anything - she just went to kick Dawn's ass and told everyone DAWN stole the Planet from her, no mention of what Ivan had done.
Well, it's interesting to note that Kit did NOT have a romantic storyline whatsoever this entire season. And in the previous season, they left off with a scene of Kit strolling down the beach arm-in-arm with both Angus (her [ex-]boyfriend who cheated on her), and Papi (a WOMAN she slept with out of desperation/confusion/rebound re: Angus' cheating). GeeWHO is a perfect combination of both those characters, neither of whom were heard from again after the S4 finale? And now SUDDENLY they drop Ivan's name like that at the end of this season?
I think they're preparing for Ivan's return, somehow. Because in the episode where Dawn screws Kit over (via Ivan), it shows Kit drive off in the car Ivan restored for her back in the second season. WE NEVER SEE THAT CAR!!! I took it as symbolism; then again, I'm an eternal optimist.
But almost everything points to a return of this character.
Then again, there's the possibility that the writers aren't all that complex with their storylines, and the Ivan-screwing-Kit-over plot was nothing more than a blatant assassination of his character.
Only time will tell!

The way this season is going, I'm willing to bet money she'll be reprising her role as Ivan next year!

I CANNOT believe that Ivan is Vivien Wood from Charlies Angels! WHAT THE! Haha Ivan is funny spesh when Kit finds out hes seeing that chick for like 5 years and hes like "monogomy doesnt work for me" and shes like "uh huh you try and romance me when ur with her!" HA!

Yes, Kelly's acting chops are undoubtedly not going to waste in this role. She's amazing. I am completely enthralled by Ivan.

I recently bought the DVD set of season one, I watched Kelly's appearances as Ivan. She was wonderful. You really believed that she was in love with Kit. Kelly is a great, great actress. It was truly enjoyable watching Ivan romance Kit. So sweet. Next I must get season 2 because I am still playing catch up with this groundbreaking show. Hopefully Ivan will return sometime in the near future.

I'm in absolute agreeance with you -her performance was incredibly stunning. Whether they bring Ivan back or not remains to be seen. Though either way, if they don't, she'll always know that she brought something deeply unique and so well crafted to the show

I agree. She is great as Ivan. Luckily they brought her back on the last episode, though only for a minute. Hopefully they will continue to use her on the show. I'd love to see her and Kit get together.
