I just saw it. Beautiful movie and outstanding performances all round.

I saw this film at a special screening, and the professional (show business) audience loved it. Viggo did an outstanding job as the father who has trained his children in a certain, very disciplined way and in particular subjects in a protected environment - only to have to re-enter the real world and deal with real world problems.
I thought it was well done, thought provoking and contained a high quality performance from Viggo.

Honestly his best performance next to Eastern Promises.

It's out from Amazon, DVD and BlueRAy. I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my gift list.

It's just about to be released in the UK this Friday - and it's made more than 5 million dollars, which I guess represents a few people seeing it.
It won best director at Cannes and a standing ovation at Sundance, and some outstanding reviews, so I suppose that means he's done yet another wonderful acting job.

I hope to at least rent it, as opposed to other of his indie films

I was so stunnb68ed our local theather was going to show it, by the time I realized it was here, it was gone. Makes me wish the Sundance Fest had sattelite locatons!
