I just read in Hollywood Reporter an item from the Rome Film Festival that Viggo announced he hoped to be directing his first movie early next year. He said he had written a screenplay someone was interested in having him direct this year, but the money fell through and he couldn't finance it himself.
But now he has another screenplay he wrote that he might direct, and there appears to be someone (or a company) interested in having him do that early next year.
Something to look forward to!
