I've read three pages of humorous answers but not a single correct answer to the question. In 1985 Mr. T was at the (then) yearly ASKSMTS convention where he scored a rather average 377. For a man his size that was not very impressive. It was just a bit over average for an average size man at that time. He said that the score was low because he was running on next to no rest. While invited, he never came back to the convention in the following years to try and improve his score.

if they had a fight he wouldn't even have to get out of his chair to beat superman, but as we know his kryptonite is flying. so superman could pick him up and fly with him, although this would just make him angrier so supes would get more of a ass kicking!

I saw Mr. T bend prison bars, punch a great white shark, swing an alligator by it's tail and throw it for distance on his cartoon show back in the 80's. He's mad strong.

I think he said in a recent interview about that homophobic Snickers commercial he did, that he only lifts about 30 lbs in each arm nowadays.
So I guess he ain't so strong anymore, and I don't think he was ever even close to Schwarzenegger's strength when they were both in the 80s era.

I can't believe I'm saying this, or contributing here at all, but if his strength doubled each year, then he'd be 32x stronger now than he was five years ago, or 2^5.
In his 56 years, that would make him roughly as strong as 17 T-Rex's. Which sounds about right.
