Exactly. Susan Olsen was bright and down to earth. Meanwhile Cindy Brady was acting like a 6 year old when Cindy was 12 and it became unnerving for the actor. Always loved Susan Olsen's attitude about being a Brady probably more than any of the other kids.

Didn't Barry Williams say in his book that the he and the other actors' personalities were close to the Brady characters they played except for Susan Olsen?

I have heard she was a tomboy too. She and Mike and Todd Lookinland used to ride in weekend bike races and she loved to play boys sports. I have heard she was well liked by the cast.

That is not what Greg meant. Susan Olsen was a tomboy. She took on the boys at her school. Rumbling and tumbling. She was nothing like the girly Cindy character she played on the Brady Bunch.

i've never heard that. she was a sweetheart; the cast loved her.

In the book growing up Brady, Greg said Cindy was a mean little girl in real life.

She inhaled, like many of us did in the 1970s and into the 1980s. She's past that now.

You may be thinking of Maureen McCormick, "Mb68arcia Brady," who admitted that she was using drugs (coke I think) in the years following the show, but is clean now.

As Susan mentioned in "Growing Up Brady" , people confuse her with the little girl who played "Buffy" on "Family Affair" from 1966 - 1971.
That actress,after she got into her teens became a drug addict and later killed herself. Which was over 30 years ago.
