A little bird at a Pro-Am told me that he was a damned good 14.1 straight pool shooter. I figured it must be because he's got some of the behind the scenes footage for "The Hustler" (commentary, remarks, etc).
What's the word? Did he just like the Hustler or could he actually shoot a decent game.

Yes, he demonstrated his shooting skills on Conan O'Brien many years ago. Conan showed a clip when he died.
