Whenever watching the reruns of Law & Order with Jerry Orbach's
Lennie Briscoe I realize just how much he's missed by his
many fans including myself. And cannot believe that he's been
gone now for over nine years! Jerry was really an actor's
actor making his craft look easy and yet he never failed to
deliver his great performances on every L & O segment in
which he'd appeared. I really don't care for those post Briscoe
episodes with the exception of the late Dennis Farina who
stepped in as Det. Joe Fontana to replace the departed
Jerry Orbach. He actually made those episodes worth watching
though myself and many fans still missed Lenny Briscoe.
I hope know that Mr. Orbach is in a better place these days
and may god bless his soul!
