Nope. He is in fact a childhood supporter of Sheffield United who occasionally supports Wednesday because he's lived in London for a long time and wants the 5b4Sheffield teams to do well against team from other towns/cities. So, his biography is correct.

I think he is more a blade than an owl. In 'Full Circle' he drives a little van in Malaysia I think - which is covered in Sheffield United stickers and banners.
He also mentioned the Blades (Sheffield Utd) in his around the world in 20 years special that was on recently
I CAN'T BELIEVE I ALMOST FORGOT TO WRITE THIS - When I met him at a book signing in Canterbury in 1999 I told him I was a Sheffield Unied supporter too and he asked me if I thought they would beat Dagenham and Redbridge in the cup.

He supports sheffield as a footballing city, and doesn't take sides
I remember a few years back (2001 actually) he came and did the "blades superdraw" at half time at brammall lane (sheffield uniteds ground)I remember i was 13 at the time and all i could say is i thought i he looked smaller in person

I think it is most likely that he isn't really interested in football that much - but just likes to see Sheffield teams do well. Hes such a nice bloke that he probably doesn't want to upset anyone, so he says he supports both.

In one of his documentarys he said he supports whichever team is doing better at the time!! Which would mean right now, he supports United.
I'm not sure if he was joking or not, but inside the cover of one of his books is a picture of a compass with the Shef Utd badge on it.

When does he say he supports United though? From what I've seen he's a Wednesday supporter, though I guess he could support both teams.

It's his choice to support who he wants, but whe5b4n he keeps contradicting himself, it's a bit stupid, unless he genuinely supports both teams.
