Her accent is very rough-and-tumble but I like it. However, as an actress she should be able to tone it down for roles as needed. It's like a Cockney Accent versus The Queen's English. Doesn't denote intelligence but it can make you stand out for the wrong reasons.

What's the difference between a Brooklyn accent and say a Queen's accent? I think her voice/accent suited her. Whether you like it or not. JLO has a high not so appealing voice. And Sandra Bullock too. It's all subjective to me.
