Of all the Warehouse 13 characters, CCH Pounder's Mrs. Frederic is clearly the most mysterious. With perhaps a few exceptions, we usually see her only at the beginning and ending of episodes. I've heard other people say that her role should be expanded, but I think it's perfect as it is. Her brief appearances add to the character's mystique and makes one wonder just who she really is and what her role actually is at the Warehouse and the Regents.
In short, Mrs. Frederic's absences from the show add more mystery to the show than her appearances.
