Not only are the Quaids loony, the Canadian courts are incompetent. Randy was arrested in Montreal days ago and ordered deported. He appealed and was released because judge did not consider him a flight risk. Then Randy leaves! Instead of applying for asylum in Ecuador or Russia, he heads back to the US where is he is a wanted felon!! He could also headed back to British Columbia were the locals welcome "persecuted" loons like him.
Why does Evi go with Randy? She wasn't deported because she's also Canadian.

His request for Canadian citizenship was denied in 2013 because of his criminal record. It took them two years to finally deport him.

Canada does a good job of deporting their illegal immigrants.
