Just the anger that it brings out it people speaks for itself. Of course 16d0Reeves could had been gay or bisexual(at least). Do people even realize how their anger reflects how they feel about homosexuality? It's why actors still stay in the closet, due to this kind of attitude.

I'm quite sure I've heard this rumor over the years as well, though I don't remember where.
If it's not mentioned in the book about Reeves, that doesn't really prove anything. Just because someone has a biography written about them, it doesn't necessarily mean it's accurate about every single aspect of the subject's life. Because biographer's can play up or ignore aspects of a person's life that do or do not appeal to them, personally.
I'm pretty sure my first lover told me he had seen George Reeves in a Hollywood bath house that was used for gay pickups, back in the day. He said he did not look well. I think this was after
Superman
went off the air. Or, that's how I remember it, anyway. It was quite a while ago.

, I think that's a truly ignorant thing to say. Of course everyone's interested in the personal lives of their favorite Hollywood stars, or figures. That's why movie magazines have existed from practically the beginning of the film industry. If someone asked, "Does anyone know if so-and-so is getting married?", the answer wouldn't be, "Even if it's true, why would you care?"
People CARE because they like to try to fit together a sense of what a public figure (who they most probably will never meet, or know, themselves) is like when they're off screen.

First time I have ever heard anyone suggest that before. Seriously doubt it. He dated more than a few women. One was even married and may have had something to do with his death.
