Of Rodriguez's filmography, although I'm not a big fan of these movies, I think 'Desperado', 'From Dusk Til Dawn', and 'Sin City' are quite memorable and strong, but that's it IMO. I'm a big fan of 'Fire and Ice' so I'm looking forward to the live action remake and think Rodriguez might be able to do it justice.

I almost think he is a bit underrated because most say he made bad movies and is a jerk.
The Mariachi Trilogy and Sin City is great, Grindhouse - Planet Terror too and I love Machete and From Dusk Till Dawn.
Machete Kills and Sin City 2 - A Dame To Kill For are not as good as the first ones but still awesome.

Tarantino doesn't try to be original? Robert definitely has a creative mind, but don't speak against Quentin because he does as well.

I honestly think that if he didn't make El Mariachi for $7,000, no one would be calling him a great director. He just got lucky with that one film. Since then, he's proven himself to be a terrible storyteller and an egotistical moron, constantly bragging about how he knows how to save money on productions over being able to tell a good story or get a good performance out of an actor.
