This film will fail guaranteed, no matter who does it. It is destined to be a bargain bin filler. Johnny Quest was good, but leave it alone. The Point Break remake that nobody wanted is coming out, but Robert, you can still stop this. Threaten to sue for them trying to destroy your career, threaten to cast Danny Trejo as Johnny, do whatever it takes to avoid this piece of ****. It's going to suck if it's not animated, even then there's a good chance it'll still suck. This is not the time to pretend you can make family films! Come to terms with that and accept that all of your films should be R rated, please. It's even in your name! Your name is Robert Rodriguez, not PGobert PGodriguez. Don't do it!

Sue them for trying to destroy his career? He already destroyed his career himself. A big studio action movie is the only way to save his careerI kind of just realized we are going to be getting Spy Kids RR on this onewhatever. Rodriguez is dead to me as a director. Just do The Director's Chair or whatever it's called for eternity and I'll be happy.
