He is one of the worst director in this generation right now, and he doesn't have any outstanding's work since the first Sin City.
Then, somehow he get to direct the live-action version movie of Johnny Quest, and James Cameron pick him to direct Battle Angel ? WTF ?
Have you guys seen Sin City 2 ? The gabage Manchete 1-2 ? Lava girl & awfully Sharkboy ? The retard Planet Ter5b4ror ? And the worse of them all, Spy Kid 4 ! They're all suck ass !
Still this guy got the chance from Hollywood to direct big blockbuster flicks ? WTF ? He's worse than Michael Bay and Brett Ratner, please stop giving him a chance already!

Planet Terror is excellent and original; why don't you like it?
The kids movies are a good chance for him to create work that his whole family can enjoy - I don't personally watch them, but it's a nice sentiment.
The Machete films were entertaining and silly; not my favourites of his, but I still enjoyed them.
And Sin City 2 was simply hindered by the fact the stories weren't as good as those picked in Sin City. The direction was still excellent though, blame Frank Miller for the writing. Regardless, I still thought it was a good movie.
Your arguments are obviously based on opinion, but even then, you've not clarified such an opinion.
Rodriguez deserves respect for choosing his creative independence over money as often as he has; and also more recently for creating one of the best cable channels ever in the El Rey network. He deserves all the chances he's given.
