We are hosting a Ginger Rogers festival in the city of her birth - Independence, Missouri on July 15-16, 2017. Plans include a tb68our of the house Ginger was born in, which is currently under renovation to restore it to original condition and appearance. We are also holding a silent auction, presentations, a dinner, and a fundraising banquet. We are seeking speakers for this event who are experts on Ginger Rogers, and items she wore or owned that would be of interest for people to see (on loan). Ideas and donations are welcome. Hi Marge! How is everything on Moore Street? I am REALLY looking forward to this festival in May will be there unless so111cmething VERY unforeseen happens is there a 'head count' of folks coming so far? Not that it would affect anything, but just curious
I had heard that MAYBE Ms. Olden is interested. that would be incredible! I'm just now getting 'adjusted' to the fall happenings kids in school, lots of work going on, etc. - and just trying to get back into the Ginger Community thanks for all you are doing!
