There are guys like Ross out there, and they aren't uncommon at all. Maybe during the 90's where the macho guy was still very much in charge, but now macho has fallen out in favour for the sensitive type. There's no difficulties in finding guys like that. Especially if he's a bit of nerd too. That's the jack-pot.
Ross is adorable! Though I haven't come across many sensitive guys as fit and athletic as Ross. Most are really artistic types who doesn't care about sports or being fit and are really lanky types.

i agree. in the past week i have had a couple of dreams that i was dating ross geller coz ive been watching sooo much friends! i know it sounds lame but he is so dreamy. ive done the bad boy thing but when it comes down to it - id rather a ross than a joey.

I know how you feel. I've always likened myself that exact kind of person. always falling in love too deeply, getting burned in the process. I've had a few like Rachel and a few a whole lot worse. I read all these posts about women who wish Ross were real, but in real life, most are looking for Joeys.

i generaly watch any show by thinking myself as one of the characters of the show.i believe most of us do(i hope). and i assumed myself as Ross from the very first episode. He was very close to my character. i dont mean the others were not good. They were all hillarious. if you people let me say this, i know there are not much people like Ross but there are some.
generally they are not socially active and dont talk much.
prefers to think a lot and love too much.
the thing is, real world is not safe for a ross and thsi definitely not a world for ross. it is a world for joey :))). A joey with a worse altitude
anyway, if someone looks for a ross, she must open her eyes wide
