I think Tracy would be great hosting a chat show. Everybody seems to be doing it, from Craig Ferguson to Ellen. Tracy obviously knows a lot of people in Hollywood, and could have some really interesting guests on there. The topics to discuss would be endless.
C'mon Tracy!!

She would be great at that. Few people know how brilliant she is and spontaneously funny. Just Google some of her clips. She's a scream!

don't forget I saw MJ as a very little boy before he became famous (though I was drooling over him a few years ago). My hormones have died.

I don't think of her as a senior either but in the U.S., you are considered a senior citizen at the age of 59!!!! I was shocked when I found out, it was when I was grocery shopping in Albuquerque and the cashier asked my age, I was 59, she said well now you're a senior and you get a 10% discount!!
You can drool over MJ, I feel "maternal" towards him and I'll take Alan Rickman, he's more age appropriate for me and his voice make my knees weak. ( I started to crush on AR years ago when he turned up on Ruby Wax's show a few times, I guess they were roomates for a while.)
I wish Tracy luck in whatever she endeavors to do, she is a beautiful and talented woman.

I first saw Gary Sinise in Forest Gump (Loo-ten-ant Dayn) and then in some space movie, can't remember the name of it. The only reason I tuned into the CSI spin-off in New York was because he was in it, and I think he really did justice to Mac's character. He's one of the few celebs I'd like to sit down and have a coffee with.
I'm pushed to imagine how or why someone would get rude with John Wayne; he really did seem like a big ol' gentleman. The depths some people go to astound me, especially when they're in the public eye all the time. I could be wrong, but I have an image ofa a gentle giant when it comes to John Wayne.
NowJohn Malkovich..! There's an interesting person I hadn't thought of. Cyrus the Virus in Con Air was freaking brilliant, and his role opposite Clint Eastwood in In The Line Of Fire deserved much more recognition than it got. I didn't fancy Being John Malkovich too much, the one where he's running around inside his own head or something weird like that; it just didn't make pleasurable viewing for my taste. Did you see him playing an imposter to the british throne in Johnny English? That was comical
I remember some hoo-hah about what Sean said about1c84 hitting a woman. I don't know word for word what he said, but I think if a woman attacks a guy then she deserves to be pushed on her backside. And that's coming from a woman. Some women think because they're the "weaker sex" (ha) that gives them the right to hit and punch men, but I don't think it does. I like Sean, he says what he thinks and has definitely improved with age.
I'm still heavily into MJ though, hee hee XD

She's friends with Gary Sinise, so that would be a fantastic interview. Have you seen his version of "Of Mice and Men"? He directed it. I'd love to know why that was the only movie he ever directed, because it was fantastic!
And to that list of guests, I'd add John Malkovich.
Tracy's also just so nice that she'd be able to ask penetrating questions in such a way that people wouldn't mind answering them. Not everyone can do that. Babwa Wawa, for one. That woman got downright rude with John Wayne, and it was only because he was a gentleman that he didn't just leave. Or when she totally misunderstood what Sean Connery was saying about hitting a woman. He wasn't endorsing it, but she tried to make it sound as if he was.
Yes! I think Trace could be fantastic as a talk show host!
You will probably disagree. That's the nature of discussions they have two sides.

Hmmmsenior? I wouldn't put Tracy in the senior b5b4racket, in my mind seniors are 97, 98, 99I have a lovely wee man who's 99, an amazing voice and loves to sing - only he sings his heart out until four and five in the morning hahaha. It drives his wife mental, she can't get any sleep! Neither can the wee lady upstairs who's mid 90s as well I guess senority is a state of mind though; my wee gentleman doesn't act 99. More like 19.
The problem with Hollywood is that they think anyone over the age of 55 is over the hill. They forget that the view is better from the top of that hill - experience, wisdom and patience. (I'm still waiting - har) Even the UK market is going that way, although we still have some good stuff produced with actors/actresses who aren't teeny-boppers getting their bits out at every opportunity. I totally agree with you on Alan Rickman btw, although I'm not drooling over him
Too busy drooling over my MJ
His role in RHPOT was outstanding, and I'm pretty sure the movie would have been utter crap without him stealing the limelight. Bill Nighy is hilarious - catch him in "Still Crazy" for a laugh that will have you on the floor.
I'm still swinging towards a chat show, seeing 5b4as Hollywood seems to be practicing a severe case of Age-ism. That pisses me off - teenagers and twenty-somethings just don't have the experience, the knack of portraying the character. Proposed guest list
Alan Rickman
Bruce Willis
Kurtwood Smith
Sam Elliot
Eddie Murphy
Ian McKellan
Hugh Laurie
Stephen Fry
Sean Connery
Samuel L Jackson
Christopher Lee
John Cleese
Morgan Freeman
Jim Carrey
Gary Sinise
Clint Eastwood
Jack Nicholson
Martin Sheen
Jennifer Aniston
Steven Spielberg
Tom Hanks
Aretha Franklin
Tina Turner
Lionel Ritchie
Mark Calloway (The Undertaker from WWE)
There's loads of 'empeople who have something interesting to talk about, not just some trash that nobody's interested in. People who've lived a little, have experience at life, and wisdom along with it. No Beiber, no Kardashian mob, no Mileys and definitely no MJ impersonators! People with
substance
. No nutters.
Wish I could organize this.

I used to watch Craig Ferguson when I couldn't sleep at night, he no longer hosts a talk show but has a game show instead. I think it would be great if Tracy could host an intelligent talk show and people actually talked about subjects on a one and one basis and not just promoting their latest film, CD, etc. When I was young I used to watch Jack Paar and even the celebrities he had on would tell such fascinating stories i.e. things that happened on set or even stories about their childhood etc.. Nowadays its all about promoting or making jokes that aren't even funny. I like to watch the part of the Bill Maher show when he is talking one on one with a person but when he goes to his panel, everyone is talking at once.
I wonb68der why the industry isn't utilizing Tracy, is it because she's a beautiful woman but not between 18-24? Did she step on someone's toes? Unlike the "industry" in the U.K., everything in the U.S. seems to be orientated to the younger people (15 - 29 ), every year there are wonderful films that come out of the U.K. , i.e. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Calendar Girls, Quartet etc. that star older actors like Bill Nighy, Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, Alan Rickman(
), Celia Imrie, Ronald Pickup, Maggie Smith .. Maybe a lot of us "Baby Boomers" don't go to the cinema anymore but we do buy and rent films. I wish we could see "the Rise of Senior Cinema" in the U.S.

I'd like that, too! She's brilliant, can speak several languages, and would surprise the audience with her depth of knowledge. She doesn't even have to do it with one of the mainstream networks. The Internet and cable is really opening up to new ideas.
I hate to see wasted talent!
