I just watched Nightbreed for the first time since the 1990s (thanks Netflix). I got to the end credits expecting to see Boreanaz's name and I was thinking who is this Sheffer guy??
They have to be distant relatives. The resemblance is amazing.

You're Crazy! Craig looks nothing like David. One, I am a mega david fan and have only seen Craig on afew things so i am by far not his biggest fan even though I like Craig's work. But I just don't see where they look anything alike. I actually think that Paul Wesley looks more like Craig when he was young. Sure David and Craig both have hazel eyes but there's alot of brown eyes, brown haired men. Doesn't mean they all look alike. Although I never thought that Craig was nice looking. Great actor, but I never got that he was eye candy. David on the other hand is hot. I looked at a picture side by side of th5b4e two and they look nothing alike. Maybe for some people it's the tall, dark, and brooding demeaners that make them seem like they are alike in some sense. Because both actors do have the dark and brooding thing going for them.

Yep, same hereforgot about Craig and was watching this movie on Netflix called Battledogs. I thought his build was a bit different but was sure it was Boreanaz. Glad to see Craig is still out there doing his thing.

Yes, only ten years later, but I just thought the same thing. I forgot about Craig and finally figured out who Boreanaz reminded me of!

Just finished watching Fire in the Sky and thought it was David. I was so surprised to find it wasnt.

Add Matthew Morrison from "Glee" to that list. Actually, I think Craig more closely resembles Josh Brolin than David Boreanaz.

Ummmm I always see posts of people saying someone looks like someone and I think they are crazy. However on this one I just bet my roomate they were tge same dude ten to one odds. I lost $100. beep these guys.

I saw A River Runs Through It after I had been watching One Tree Hill for two seasons and never realized Craig Sheffer was in both. (This is before I was addicted to IMDb.) But the first time I saw Eddie McClintock, I thought he was Craig Sheffer. Does anyone think they look a lot alike? But to get back to the OP, I find it hilarious that Eddie McClintock says he gets mistaken for Boreanaz and Sheffer, and they both get mistaken for Josh Brolin. He says they should all play do a movie together and play brothers or something. lol

I always thought that it was David Boreanaz in Nightbreed! Darn it they look JUST alike.

I've watched a few Bones' episodes here in Spain thinking the main character was played by Craig. In fact, I've come to this page looking for information about Bones, and I've 'discovered' that Craig even doesn't work in it!!!

There's an interview on EW.com where David states he would pass as Craig at clubs - calling up beforehand as his publicist and it worked.

I thought I was the only one who thought they look like they are related.

Just saw Merlin the Return and thought he looked like David, although I knew deep down it wasn't as i'm a huge Angel fan and would have remembered my billed in this film if it was him.
