Deborah Shelton hostessed at least 19 episodes of "Worlds Most Exotic Travel Destinations" (Publishers Choice Video) in 1996-97 along with co-hostess, Kim Alexis.
I'm trying to get a complete list of all episodes part of this series, and also to find where I can purchase used copies of the entire (or at least some) of this travel series.
Each episode visited roughly 10 locations around the world over a 45 minutes period..thus providing about 4 minutes for a quick glimpse of highlights of each location (Paris, Japan, etc.)
The series is not included on Deborah Shelton's list of credits, nor is it included on the Kim Alexis page on WWW.IMDb.Com. Both women were part of it, and did a lot of work on camera with the series..I own several episodes, and would like to obtain the entire series (Amazon.Com offers some episodes for sale, but not all).

I read somewhere in a book that said, "Even if you've been told you're talented and have received accolades before does not mean you'll find success, because there are many talented people in the world." Even though she never attained superstar status, she's had reasonable success, having appeared in over 50 things on television and film.
In Body Double, she left the blinds open in her house, and left the dressing room curtain partly open. Hasn't she ever learned the word "closed"?

I appreciate your kind reply to my post about Deb Shelton and "World's Most Exotic Travel Destinations" 19 episodes she hosted along with actress Kim Alexis.
The copyright dates on the video packages state "1991" and the 19 packages (about 10 quick 4 minute visits in each 45 minute episode, many repeated to places like Hawaii and Switzerland) appear to be re-cycled travel episode fragments from the "Travel Channel" on cable TV in the 1980's, which dates I think you correctly speculated about.
Deb Shelton is 65 now, and still working in minor parts on TV shows according to her IMDb Filmography.
She starred in a 1993 movie titled "Sins Of The Night" not available on DVD, but still available used on VHS cassettes for about $30 from Amazon.Com which I haven't seen. The movie got bad reviews but the reviews all commented on Deb Shelton's sizzling looks and acting..romantic lead in her then middle 40's in a role usually meant for a very young woman in her early 20's.
The "World's Most Exotic Travel Destinations" series (I've finally obtained all but 5 of the 19 used from Amazon.Com..all are very well done "quick trips" to expensive, far away vacation places) pairs Deborah Shelton with Kim Alexis, who is about 20 years younger than Shelton, a pretty long haired blonde with a flatter chest than Deb. Shelton's and a stranger lower than average voice..not low, sexy, and sultry..just low.
Deb. Shelton had a career (now probably ended by old age.she's now 65 in 2013) as a hostess, spokeswoman clothes horse type who seems to have worked non-stop since she was a very young girl in the late 1960's leveraging her status as a beauty contest winner into decades long work in which she has managed to keep up her looks and energy in spite of the inevitable drag of years and what must have been exceedingly physically hard work for her.
She really is a "super-star" in her way, and the "World's Most Exotic Travel Destinations" work she did shows a "star quality" quite wonderful and interesting, and, it seems, never really used ideally or profitably in feature movies telling fiction stories.
She really did "have the stuff" but didn't connect with writers or tech people who could make her part of good movie which us5b4ed a type like Deborah Shelton in overall good feature movies.
She's a very interesting as well as physically beautiful woman with an infectiously warm smile and verbal manner. Good at hostessing but could have been good in good feature movies had the right one been done with the right people.

Thank goodness you posted this! I knew there was a show with mostly outdoor locations that she hosted, and I was going crazy trying to remember what it was called. It's not listed in her IMDB credits. Anyway, I thought she hosted it in the 80's. Maybe reruns were shown from 1996-1997 and it wasn't indicated in the TV Guide or elsewhere that it was a rerun. Many people will think a show is worthless crud if it's a rerun, so they won't mark it as a rerun. Or your video had the years 1996-1997 on it but it was filmed in the 80's. Sometimes the release date of an item and the year it was actually filmed aren't the same. I don't know where you could find the episodes, though a search on Google Shopping or ebay might be one idea.
SPOILERS
By the way, I don't know how she could take the part in Body Double. First someone tried to strangle her, and then she got drilled to death with a giant power drill. Probably was the most unpleasant part she ever did.
I agree with everybody - she does look terrific!
