I remember they would play this like once a year, we would play out the movie as kids. I was about 10 in 1978, I was in love with Weena..
The sadest thing is Pal wanted to make a sequel but passed away.

I too used to play out this movie with my cousins in the early 90s. I "discovered" this movie when it aired on TNT (or TBS) while I was spending the night with my grandparents and I fell in love with it. Afterwards, I begged my mom to drive me to the video store to hunt it down. Luckily, they had a copy and I watched it multiple times. Just recently, I acquired the blu-ray as a birthday gift. Can't wait to watch it!
