If you look at her picture, she photos much younger than 80 years old
somebody failed maths. She was born in 1924. She's 90 years old.
Now don't get me wrong, she looks awesome and is incredibly lively for her age. Hell, she's on stage on Broadway right now so she's definitely not your typical 90 year old but she can't exactly play 40 year olds anymore.
So why is she in How to get away with Murder, playing Miss Jane Pittman again? and again and again?
Her character had nothing to do with Miss Jane Pittman. She's still black. She can't change much about that. Maybe you should take it up with casting directors.

No way! If you want to see a young Cicely Tyson role, look at Wilma, The Marva Collins Story, or Bustin Loose. She does great playing the grandma southern woman roles!
