Cicely Tyson was fantastic in the new film 'The Help'. There were few dry eyes during her scene as she leaves the house w/her daughter. I wish we saw more of this remarkable lady!

As much as I would have liked to see more of her in this movie, her part was small yet crucial and it hit all the right tones. Putting her in more of the movie might have ruined this feeling for me.

Does anyone else know? Was she talking like that because it was for the character or has she had a stoke? I havent seen a recent role of hers, so I dont know, I know she has always had a sort of lisp but in this movie she sounded like Grandma from the waltons after her stroke. But I do love ms tysons acting and am glad she is the celebrity I share a birthdate with.
